You totally can, but often they over-heat or even burn out–horse hair is a lot thicker, and there’s just so much more of it–than human hair. So just keep tabs on your clippers and make sure they don’t get too hot. Especially watch the clipper blades and plate, as you can burn your horse if you let it get too hot without changing it out or cooling it off. Many companies make clippers just for horses, too.
