Thank-You! there’s one horse at the barn and she loves to lay down in her stall and roll from time to time and i’m assigned each week to clean her stall
Around 6:15 it reminds me of a prank my stable buddies and i play on each other. we will move the wheelbarrow therefore the one mucking will toss all the manure into the aisle, Sigh* Chore fun :)
great video Ali ,
that is an exceptional way to muck out a stall and save soooo much money on shavings
btw what is your opinion on salt licks ???
I know, isn’t it an amazing technique? I didn’t know anything about it before–it’s always fun to learn something new ;) As for salt licks, I think they are important. Not only do they supply essential minerals, they also encourage horses to drink. Not drinking enough water is a cause of colic, especially in the winter months. Also, I always get mineral blocks, not the straight salt ones (they tend to be red, not white) because they have added minerals.
