Hey Ali, I think your information about everything is very helpful to me because I am hoping to get a horse when I have the time and money. It was also really helpful to me because I don’t really know anything about horses and their care except about the types of riding and different types of horse breeds. THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!
P.S. I THINK IT IS REALLY NICE OF YOU TO SPEND YOUR TIME TO TEACH OTHER PEOPLE ABOUT HORSES!!!!!!
I am a 13 year old girl who is dying to get a horse!!!

Ali, Thank you sooooo much on all the information you have given. I’m glad u are taking the time to teach other ppl. My horseback riding expirience began on my birthday, Tuesday November 19, 2010. I had fun at my first lesson and continue to ride horses. Thank you for all the work u put in to help other ppl about horses.
With Love,
Destiny Clay
P.S.- Noah is sooooooooo cute!!!!!! i think u two are made for each other! I know u luv him ALOT!!!!!! And thanks again!!
Thank you soooo much for all your kind words!! I have had so many wonderful teachers in my life, I only hope I can share half as much wisdom as they’ve given me ;) I’m so glad you enjoy my site and videos. Nope, no paying at all! It’s a totally free site :D I’m so glad you enjoy it. And yes, I’m incredibly lucky to have Noah!! (I think about that when he’s outsmarting me in dressage or sneaks into the barn ;p )
-Ali
Yes Ali you are totally right. My dreams are coming true of getting a horse!!!! My uncle is giving me a black mare she is a Tennesse Walker the one thing that made my parents almost say yes is because he’s giving her to us for free!!!! The only not so good thing is that we dont have enough land to have a horse:( But were going to board her at a house down the road frome me. All of your videos have helped me learn to know my horse and take great care of her.
i Thank You So so so so much
P.S. I would love to take lessons and learn from you at your barn but you live in Colorado and I live in Wisconsin :(
I just love love love horses!!!!! But my problem is that my mom thinks I’m to fragil and that I’ll brake my back or something right away if I fall off a horse. Please please help me!!!!!! What should I do or say???
hi Ali how are u? and how is Noah ? i like all the videos you did but would you be able to do a video on how to load a horse in a tralier ? please i do not have a horse but i do take riding lessons in grand-falls.NL I live in a small town called Ladle coven it is a VERY small town in riding lessons i ride a horse named Ginger and she looks JUST like Noah i hope you get the time to do the video on how to load a horse in a tralier for me thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, your mom is right in that horses can be very dangerous! I’ve been very lucky, but many of my friends have broken bones falling off horses. But what you can tell your mom is that there is risk to everything, and you can do lots of things to minimize the risk in riding. For example, you could always wear a protective vest when riding (and of course always wear a helmet). As any beginner should do, you could make sure you only ride well-trained horses under proper supervision, in a safe barn. You can also avoid more dangerous riding sports like jumping or cross country. If riding is really something you want to do, ask your mom what you could do to make her feel comfortable letting you ride. She may have some suggestions–if not, you can suggest some of the things I’ve listed here. Whatever you do, don’t make your mom feel “wrong” for being worried about you–it’s her job ;) Just find a way that both of you can get what you want!
Hi Ali :) Your website and videos have helped me soooo much! I start riding on Monday and I’m SUPER excited but before all i knew about horses was what i learned from a pony ride with girl scouts hahaha and im 13! I’m really looking forward to riding and your videos are what really got me interested.
Thanks SO much!
-BreaAnn
I absolutely LOVE ur videos. I just started riding and your videos have taught more then I ever thought there was to know about horses! Currently I ride a Tennessee Walker named Miracle and she’s amazing! Thanks for the videos and keep posting!
P.S Noah is a real beauty, your sooo lucky to have him and he’s lucky to have you!
Hey Ali!
I got my first horse in June, and he’s the sweetest boy ever, 17hh dapple grey, Irish Draught gelding, only 5 :) He’s called Finn and I love him to pieces :) Just a question really, but has Noah ever pulled a muscle? And if so how did you deal with it? Just coz Finn’s pulled a muscle in his back, doesn’t seem to be bothering him but for the time being I’m not riding him, just wondering if there’s anything I can do to make him more comfortable?
Hi Ali! I think your horse is 100% beautiful! He’s so honest and a horse I would die to have.
The thing that gets me down, is that I can never own a horse.. It makes me sad, and I even cry when people aren’t around. And, I take riding lessons and do clubs at Henley Riding School, a small school in the east of england, with about 5 horses there. There is a 15.1 piebald mare there, who I love just like my own! But, it just dosen’t complete me enough. We don’t have alot of money, and we’d need to pay for vet bills AND a field and stable for a horse to say seeing as we don’t have a big enough garden.. Your so lucky to ride such a well-behaved horse, such an inspiration to give to young girls like us, who dream of one day, owning a best friend for life! By the way, i’m years old,
Thankyou x
@paula: Ali is it hard looking after a horse because i really want one but i don’t know how to look after one the way learnt how to do things with horse is because you put the vidios on youtube?
Looking after a horse full time is VERY hard! It’s lots of work and you can never miss a single day. If you keep your horse at a place where they will do the work for you, it’s not quite as difficult, but much more expensive. Horses are a labor of love ;)
-Ali
Aw, thank you so much!!! I’m certainly crazy about Noah, and do feel very lucky to have him in my life.
I totally understand the difficulties of having a horse. But keep enjoying your lessons and learn everything you can–you never know what will happen in the future! For example, my mom didn’t own her first horse until she was out of graduate school. So you’ve got a whole life ahead of you for wonderful things to happen, when they are right to happen.
im currently looking for horse but i don’t know where to begin:’( i have the money and knowledge to take care of a horse but im not so confident on where to buy my first horse!?
Well, there’s no easy answer for that. There are lots of options for buying horses. It really depends on what you’re looking for! You’ll have to just start looking around. Check out horse ads in magazines, browse the internet, check out your local horse stores. You never really know where you’re going to find the perfect pony ;)
-Ali
Hi Ali! I was wondering if you could do a video or guide on how to get the right canter lead? I struggle with this abit. Just on how to check and how to make a horse go on the right canter lead.
Hey Ali,
My pony has a bit of a problem, she keeps rearing for no apparent reason while I lead her. Do you have any suggestions to keep her from rearing? or how to respond when she does rear?
Another thing is, she paws a whole bunch when I groom her, If I groom her while she’s eating she does fine, but I need to start getting her used to being groomed without hay. Any suggestions?
I’d be thankful for any advice you can give me.
By the way I think Noah is beautiful!!!!!! Correction Handsome! Also all of your grooming videos have helped me lots! The western saddling one helped too. I am training my pony western, (first time :/ ) so the english ones can’t help much but the rooming and all else helps lots!!!!
Hi Ali your videos are really helpfully thanks to you I’m now loaning:D
But when a horse breaths out before you mount on him or her how would you tighten the girth?
Basically how do you tighten a girth on a horse?
Thank You If you could make a video that would be reeealllly helpful:D
hi Ali I love ur site and all ur vidoes so much i have nearly seen everyone of ur vids i love them all i was wonder if u had any good tips for first time horse owners im getting two horses in one week i was wondering what breed and if u had any good info or tips that would be great :)

Translation: Hello Ali,
My Name is Lola, I live in Germany!
I speak german!I love your horse noah, You are wonderful with noah.
Do you like London? I have visited london many times.
Thankyou for all your video’s. They are very good :)
Hi Ali! I’ve wanted to do horse riding for like my whole life and then when I started I fell off in rising trot by being bucked and I lost my confidence abit. Your videos are so helpful to me like the one about trotting and posting and I’m always forgetting about how to do my stirrups but I don’t know why. I think it’s great that your making these videos, they are really helpful and by the way, Noah looks amazing!<3
hey ali, i was justt wondering, could you explain to me what what you do in the most popular horse sports, and the most easy things to do because i’m a little confused about some things, like, what is hacking, halter, harness, vaulting, reining and cutting mean in a competition? thank you so much i really appreciate it.
how oftern do you send out the e-news letters?
my school is about to introduce an equestrian team and i am really excited! thanks to your videos i know how to safely do tasks with horses! thank you sooo much Ali!
The updates should go out about every week, when I post a new blog ;) I’m thinking, as I’ll have to do fewer videos over the next year until I get back to Noah that I’ll send out a newsletter with little tips maybe once a month? We’ll see. I’m so glad my site is helping you :D
-Ali
Whew, that’s a lot to fit in a comment! I’ll have to do a whole blog on that. But in the mean time, halter showing are just the horse and how he is built–there is no riding. Harness classes involve driving (the horse is hitched to a cart or carriage of some kind). Vaulting is for the rider, where he is doing stunts on and off the horse, who is cantering in a circle. Reining and cutting are Western sports, demonstrating skills needed for a good cattle horse.
-Ali
I’m so glad my videos are helping! I’m sorry about your fall. That can be very scary!! It happens to the best of us, so you’re not alone. We’ve all had our spills, and we have to get our confidence back. So keep it up, and keep practicing!
-Ali
Thank you ;) Noah says thank you too! If you’re getting two horses in one week, are they already chosen? I’m going to put up a “first time owner” blog sometime soon (I have to pace them out so I don’t run out of things to talk about!), so stay tuned.
-Ali
Hi Ali. I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your videos. I have recently returned to riding after a 5 year gap and they really helped me get my confidence before getting back in the saddle. I think its amazing that you have dedicated so much time to helping others, and both you and Noah should be very proud of yourselves! Thanks to you I am now a proud owner of Indie, my stunning new gelding!
Wow, thanks so much!! Comments like yours really do make all the work totally worth it :D I hope to hear lots of great stories about you and Indie soon!
I think if you watch the “how to tack up” video and the “safety check” video, those should both help answer your question. For just the reason you’ve described, always check your girth before you get on, and tighten it ;)
-Ali
Rearing is a very, very dangerous thing for a horse to do. If she rears at all when you ride her, you should stop riding her, and seek some professional training. As for rearing when you lead her, you could start leading her in a thin rope halter (like this: one) which will let you put more pressure on her head when she rears if you pull down. But you need to make sure that you don’t get hurt. This may be something that it’s better if you have help with.
As for the pawing, I would again recommend an assistant, because then whenever she paws, your assistant can simply back her up and then lead her back to the same spot. If you repeat this enough, she’ll get tired of having to move and stop pawing.
i have a pony called Cinnamon shes a great wee lady and i have a great bond with her! however after a bad fall i have lost alot of confidence and i am scared to jump her again! :( or sometimes even canter her! She loves jumping and I feel like I’m holding her back ,making work boring for her…. Please i need advice! xx
thanks -Grainne xx
Hi again Ali! Ever since I’ve been watching your videos I’ve been feeling even more confident. I took another look at the link of how to trot and I had a confidence lesson with my riding instructor. I’m now trotting by myself without having any thoughts of being bucked off again. I’m also now way better at remembering how to do my stirrups and hope to be moving on with doing more with my riding and on the ground work. I hope robe moving on to looking at the cantering videos now and then the jumping:D Thanks again xx
I’ve got these horses around out my back garden but one of em just had a foal but there is one other horse that I’m really worried about that looks like rain scald or eaten my fleas so badly that her hair is falling out please help because I’m really worried!!
other people have already contacted ISPCA but it has gotten to a point where i think this is serious !!! I’ve loved horses since …… well forever but now I realise some thing with horses are dedly
The best response is to contact the authorities. If ISPCA doesn’t respond, you can actually just call the police as well to report animal abuse. Talk with an adult about the state of the horses to see if they need help, and then you and the adult can decide what would be best to do.
-Ali
Ali
Your web site is great!! My mom has learned a lot so she said she is going to buy me a horse!!! Thank you for your great videos. Keep up the good work!!!
One of the horses that I was talking to u about (the sick one ) just got stitching on her side there is numbers on the crest of her neck they are 928695 but we don’t know what they mean plz help
-Carole
If you mean a snaffle “bit” then that’s a kind of bit that you use that just puts direct pressure on the horse’s mouth, rather than something that puts leverage pressure–more like a see-saw kind of pressure. So a snaffle is the gentlest bit you can use.
-Ali
It’s pretty much exactly the same to putting on a regular bridle, you just have an extra strap. Undo both the loops of the figure eight before you try to put it on. Make sure that once you buckle up both straps that the point where they cross is still on the bone of his nose, and not on cartilage–basically should be two to three finger-widths from his cheek bone.
-Ali
I would NOT load a spooked horse. That’s just asking for someone to get hurt. Wait until the horse has calmed down. Do something else, like some ground work or even let him graze a little if there is grass nearby.
-Ali
i love your videos because they are so helpful. i will be riding next week an all of the help has made it more easy to understand a horse. Ali could you please do a video on how to do rise and trot please!.
Hi Ali
I am currently taking private lessons at my barn and it is going to move soon to a location too far away. I also live in Colorado. Do you have any barns to suggest?
hi ali thankyou for all of your videos i have now brought my own horse and i am very proud of her she is called lady and she is my little angel xx thnx i will recommend the website.
Ali, Thank you so much for doing all of these videos! Thanks for all of the information you have given me and all of your other fans! I’m glad you are taking the time to teach other people about horses. All of your videos and newsletters have really helped me gain knowledge and experience about horses! I have loved horses ever since I was born(Literally, I have a picture of me riding a pony at age 4) My real horseback riding expirience began about a year ago in August. I had fun at my first night and continue to ride horses western style every Monday night. Once again, thank you for all the work you put in to help other people about horses!
With Love,
Mandy de Vos
P.S.- Noah is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!!!!! You two are MADE for each other! He even nickered at you when you opened the gate in the trailer video! He is SO sweet! You guys love each other so much! I wish I had my own horse so I could experience that kind of a bond. Happy trails!
Hey Ali! My horse doesn’t want to listen yo me :( she’s a lazy bum and everytime i try to make her turn a certain direction, she keeps going straight or something like that. She also has a lot of bug bites on her body so it’s pretty hard to groom her because i always feel like im hurting her and i barely groom her :( i know that’s bad so what should i do?
hi ali :) im normally now quite relaxed when riding but there is this one pony at my riding school that doesnt like it when you pull on her mouth :( i used to be able to ride her fine and then the last 2 times i have ridden her she has spooked and that is really putting my confidence down again :’( what should i do to keep my confidence up?
I would suggest riding another horse if you can just to get your confidence up. Then when you are feeling more sure of yourself, try a lunge line lesson on the pony. That way if she does spook, you can practice controlling it with the security of knowing there is someone there to help you if you need it. Good luck!
-Ali
Thank YOU so much for your extremely kind email! It’s such a pleasure to hear that people enjoy the website and find the videos helpful. And yes, I’m amazingly lucky to have a horse like Noah. He’s such a gem. Keep up the awesome work, and stay in the saddle :D
-Ali
Well, if you feel that your horse is a lazy bum, you probably aren’t going to have a good working relationship ;) You just have to show her that you have good ideas, too! Doing ground work, like Buck Branaman demonstrates, is really good way of building up your relationship. As for the bug bites, I’d have a vet check those out, and I would use fly spray.
-Ali
hey Ali! i absolutely love your website! im very new to the horse world and this totally helped! thanks soo much! p.s. i love noah:) he’s a cutie. i have a question…. if i were to enter a horse show what type of training with my horse or preporation would i need to do? or what do you do in horse shows? i know theres like jumping, dressage……
Hi Ali,
I am getting my horse in four days his name is lee, and he is 9 years old, he’s a bay quaterhorse.
He has round bone and im wondering if i can still use him for barrel racing?
P.S. noah is so pretty and your v ideos are so helpful!
I’m not sure what you mean about “round bone”–do you mean “ring bone”? If it is ring bone, than he might be too lame to even ride, let alone barrel race. It just depends on how bad it is and how well you manage it.
-Ali
Yes, so that’s your first task–you need to decide what kind of show you want to do! And then depending on what kind of sport you pick, will influence what kind of preparation you need to do.
-Ali
Hi ali
Im sooooooo exited cause im getting a horse his names freddie hes a palomino
Thanx alot for the vidios you are sooooo nice and kind
Im 10 years old im from the country site bite on london so dont worry i dont speak like the queen when i get a horse i hope to be just like you ive been riding for 6years but im still what people say is a very good novice i do know alot from mostly your websites

Plssss reply cause i always talk to my best friend who is also horse mad about how wonderful you arebut she doesnt really like palominos but i really like freddie and my dad said palominos are very good ponys my dad know that cause he used to be a pro showjumper and did you have any bffs that loved horses too pls replyxxxxxx
Thanks for your comment! I think Palominos are very pretty horses. Freddie sounds like he might be a great pony, if he has a good personality when you meet him. I think royal blue would look very good on him. I have two best friend who love horses too!
-Ali
Don’t worry, there’s nothing wrong with being a novice ;) Everyone was, at some point! Just keep learning and having fun. I’m very glad to hear about Freddie. Happy trails to you both!
-Ali
Thanks for the videos I would love to have a horse like Noah but I couldn’t a single Morgan in all of Ireland wich is strange considering Ireland has so many horse breeding places and race tracks and schools horse Riding is very big on this little island
Hi Ali your tips are really helpful for the times when I help out at the stables. Noah is a lovely horse! I hope your foot was ok after he accidentally stepped on it on the trailer loading video! xx
Hi Ali it’s Millie

Im getting Freddie my pony on Saturday I’m sooooooooooøöôõoōóœoooooooooooooooooooooo
Excited Bye wish me luckxxxxx
Sorry, I won’t be able to help you there! But I’m sure there are some good local websites and information at your horse centres around that could help you.
-Ali
Hi ali its millie again freddies doing really well i did a show last week and came reserve champion of the day and did another show today and came theb same thing im soo proud of him hiws noah
Hi Ali! My Parents have finally started to help me and get me a lease lesson horse (YAY!) I am so excited but most of the horses there have a bit of soundness issue. Like Shame their paint arab who mi friend was leasing came up lame. Azul ,who I would just adore to lease out, when lame on me and started limping while I was riding him! Appearantly he’s had that issue for a while but it only comes up when worked hard (it was his 3rd lesson). A girl wants to lease him out but the owner wont let her. I’m not super expierienced but not a super beginner either. I dont jump yet, but am getting more comfey in my canter every lesson. They have three more ,but only two are very sound. One of them might be a bit small for me but the other is a little young (6) and i think id be a bit nervous to ride him. Do you have any advice?
Oh the one who would be small is being leased. Moon and I aren’t a good match. Mani is a no no because I don’t have enough expierience for a younger horse.
I finally leased my first horse!!! He’s a chestnut quaterhorse 14.2-14.2 named Doc. It takes a lot to keep him going but that doesn’t matter! I love him to death. Thanks Ali, your website gave me a lot of confidence back and i would not be as confident as I am now.
@carole: I think she has a post on two point, but try pushing your bum back until it brushes the seat of the saddle while in two-point. Just a little word of advice but i’d wait for Ally to get back to you. I don’t want to tell you the wrong thing.
Ali please respond to me please Ali ok your videos r good and a few days ago i saw you making a video about how to bathe a horse and it was winter season how was Noah the next day?

Thanks so much! I will certainly do a video on girths and stirrups (I may have some footage already, I’ll have to look!). In the meantime, I’ve got a vid of running up your stirrups (http://helpmydaughterloveshorses.com/2011/02/running-up-your-stirrups/) and on tacking up (http://helpmydaughterloveshorses.com/2010/06/how-to-tack-up-a-horse-part-1/).

get one. Your videos are extremely useful thanks :))))))
P.S Noah is such a handsome boy!!!
Noah is a Morgan. Appaloosas are beautiful horses–they have such fascinating coats!

Good luck, stay safe, and have fun!

Summer–
I’ve added trailer loading to my video list! So I’ll get on that as soon as I’m home. Enjoy Ginger and have fun!
-Ali
Hi Ali :) Your website and videos have helped me soooo much! I start riding on Monday and I’m SUPER excited but before all i knew about horses was what i learned from a pony ride with girl scouts hahaha and im 13! I’m really looking forward to riding and your videos are what really got me interested.
Thanks SO much!
-BreaAnn
Hey Ali!
Reena

So glad you enjoy the videos! Good luck and have fun!

Amy x
P.S My name is Josephine!!!
Thank you again for your kind words!
-Ali
Nice Picture :) x
hiya ali!
im currently looking for horse but i don’t know where to begin:’( i have the money and knowledge to take care of a horse but im not so confident on where to buy my first horse!?
Pleasee helpp!
P.S. Noah is a gorgeous looking horse:)
Thank you! Noah is a lovely horse!
I’m supposed to have a whole video on cantering…I’ll get on that ;)
-Ali
Hey Ali,
My pony has a bit of a problem, she keeps rearing for no apparent reason while I lead her.
I am training my pony western, (first time :/ ) so the english ones can’t help much but the rooming and all else helps lots!!!!
thank sooooo much for your help it really helped me
Hi Ali your videos are really helpfully thanks to you I’m now loaning:D
But when a horse breaths out before you mount on him or her how would you tighten the girth?
Basically how do you tighten a girth on a horse?
Thank You If you could make a video that would be reeealllly helpful:D
hi Ali I love ur site and all ur vidoes so much i have nearly seen everyone of ur vids i love them all i was wonder if u had any good tips for first time horse owners im getting two horses in one week i was wondering what breed and if u had any good info or tips that would be great :)

I love you’re horse Noah :)
Guten Tag Ali,
Menie Name is Lola, Ich Bin Whona in Germany.
Ich Speak Deutche! Ich Love jahre horse ‘noah’. Du are wunderbah wiss noah.
Du you leibsten london? Ich habe visoited london manie times.
Danke for all jahre video’s. Dswei are sehre gut :)
Danke.
Translation: Hello Ali,
My Name is Lola, I live in Germany!
I speak german!I love your horse noah, You are wonderful with noah.
Do you like London? I have visited london many times.
Thankyou for all your video’s. They are very good :)
Thankyou.
-Ali
Danke! Thank you for writing to me ;) I’m glad you translated it, because I do not speak German! I do like London a lot.
Cheers,
Ali
Thanks! I do too :D
-Ali
I’ve got a new one up on trotting, it’ll be a great start for helping you post. http://helpmydaughterloveshorses.com/2012/02/the-basics-of-trotting-and-posting/
Enjoy!
-Ali
haha thanks!
Thanks again.
Looking forward to more vids!
Wow, thanks so much!! Comments like yours really do make all the work totally worth it :D I hope to hear lots of great stories about you and Indie soon!
Cheers,
Ali
I think if you watch the “how to tack up” video and the “safety check” video, those should both help answer your question. For just the reason you’ve described, always check your girth before you get on, and tighten it ;)
-Ali
I’m very glad! That’s why I do this :)
Good luck!
Ali
hi x
I was wondering if you would consider looking at my videos on youtube : http://www.youtube.com/user/RatherbeRidingxx?feature=mhee (my channel)
i have a pony called Cinnamon shes a great wee lady and i have a great bond with her! however after a bad fall i have lost alot of confidence and i am scared to jump her again! :( or sometimes even canter her! She loves jumping and I feel like I’m holding her back ,making work boring for her…. Please i need advice! xx
thanks -Grainne xx
Being scared after a fall is totally normal. Check out my blog on moving forward through fear: http://helpmydaughterloveshorses.com/2010/01/conquer-fear-4-easy-steps-to-get-back-on-the-horse/
-Ali
Hi again Ali! Ever since I’ve been watching your videos I’ve been feeling even more confident. I took another look at the link of how to trot and I had a confidence lesson with my riding instructor. I’m now trotting by myself without having any thoughts of being bucked off again. I’m also now way better at remembering how to do my stirrups and hope to be moving on with doing more with my riding and on the ground work. I hope robe moving on to looking at the cantering videos now and then the jumping:D Thanks again xx
I’m so glad to hear that!! Keep up the awesome work ;)
-Ali
Hey ali,
I really like the picture you put up. How did you do that? How did you “park” your horse in a parking lot? Hope you can answer.
Marcela
one more thing, can you maybe post a video on how to brade a horses mane and tail? it would help a lot because i am thinking on joining a competition!
Thx
Marcela
Thanks:D I had a bit of a faulty canter over the poles by accident todayx_x:)
Hi I was wondering if you had a video on the seat for cantering because I trying to get a good deep seat because I want to compete
Yes, I do! It’s called “Sitting and controlling the canter.” Hope it helps!
-Ali
Haha the parking lot picture was just a friend and me messing around one summer afternoon… we rode over to Starbucks and got drinks!
-Ali
Tnx for answering. As i said many times, i enyoy your videos and your website.
Marcela
I’ve got these horses around out my back garden but one of em just had a foal but there is one other horse that I’m really worried about that looks like rain scald or eaten my fleas so badly that her hair is falling out please help because I’m really worried!!
other people have already contacted ISPCA but it has gotten to a point where i think this is serious !!! I’ve loved horses since …… well forever but now I realise some thing with horses are dedly
by the way there not mine
The best response is to contact the authorities. If ISPCA doesn’t respond, you can actually just call the police as well to report animal abuse. Talk with an adult about the state of the horses to see if they need help, and then you and the adult can decide what would be best to do.
-Ali
thx soooooo much
Hi alli can u please help me learn how to load a spooked horse thank u
what is the most comfortable bit for a horse?????????????
Ali
Your web site is great!! My mom has learned a lot so she said she is going to buy me a horse!!! Thank you for your great videos. Keep up the good work!!!
So glad to hear it!! Thank you very much.
-Ali
Hey Ali, I need help on putting on a figure 8 bridle. Thanks
Ali i was woundering wat a snaffle mouth is and how it afects the horse
thanks – josh :)
hi Ali!
I was wondering if you can do a video on how to load and unload a horse into a horse box?
Thanks so much!
bye
One of the horses that I was talking to u about (the sick one ) just got stitching on her side there is numbers on the crest of her neck they are 928695 but we don’t know what they mean plz help
-Carole
If you mean a snaffle “bit” then that’s a kind of bit that you use that just puts direct pressure on the horse’s mouth, rather than something that puts leverage pressure–more like a see-saw kind of pressure. So a snaffle is the gentlest bit you can use.
-Ali
ooohhhhh ok tnx
Ali could you please do a video on how to do rise and trot please!.
ps: you and Noah are a perfect match.
from horsesrock12
Thank you so much!! Check out this blog for the posting trot, hope it answers your questions ;)
-Ali
Thanks!@Ali:
Good luck!
-Ali
Mandy–

Millie–
Thanks for your comment! I think Palominos are very pretty horses. Freddie sounds like he might be a great pony, if he has a good personality when you meet him. I think royal blue would look very good on him. I have two best friend who love horses too!
-Ali
Don’t worry, there’s nothing wrong with being a novice ;) Everyone was, at some point! Just keep learning and having fun. I’m very glad to hear about Freddie. Happy trails to you both!
-Ali

-Ali
Yep, it was fine ;) That’s why it’s so important to have good boots!!
-Ali
Aw, thank you!
Do you have any advice?
thanks,
Grace
Oh the one who would be small is being leased. Moon and I aren’t a good match. Mani is a no no because I don’t have enough expierience for a younger horse.
thanks
I finally leased my first horse!!! He’s a chestnut quaterhorse 14.2-14.2 named Doc. It takes a lot to keep him going but that doesn’t matter! I love him to death. Thanks Ali, your website gave me a lot of confidence back and i would not be as confident as I am now.
-Grace!!!
(PS. Noah is gorgeous!)
14.2-14.3
when im in 2 point i sometimes land on the pommel when the horse lands what am i doing wrong?????
@carole: I think she has a post on two point, but try pushing your bum back until it brushes the seat of the saddle while in two-point. Just a little word of advice but i’d wait for Ally to get back to you. I don’t want to tell you the wrong thing.
k thx
Hey Ali i realy want you to make videos i now its winter but please make a video about what to do with your horse and barn tour thanks
Ali please respond to me please Ali ok your videos r good and a few days ago i saw you making a video about how to bathe a horse and it was winter season how was Noah the next day?
