To start with, here are a few of my essentials:
http://www.ponyclub.org/ (or if you’re across the Pond: http://www.pcuk.org/)
This is the website for the Pony Club. I think this organization is one of the best I’ve ever seen! The teaching and competitions cover both riding and barn management, so participants learn about all aspects of horses. Pony Club emphases safety, leadership and versatility.

This link takes you to the homepage for the ‘Equus’ magazine. ‘Equus’ is a great source of horsey knowledge, from vet care to riding tips.
www.ariat.com
I’m not endorsing any particular brand (they don’t pay me anything) but I have always loved everything I’ve gotten from Ariat, particularly their boots!! They just seem to me to be good quality, long-lasting, and comfy. Plus, they’ve got some pretty spiffy non-riding shoes…
Let me know of any great resources you come across!

Ariat boots are tiny. Or is it me? I wear Dublins(not endorsing them,payroll-0!) Durable, nice looking, comfortable. I ride Hunter-Jumper, so comfort = #1!! But curse Dansko… they quit selling Riding Boots For SANDALS!! The dansko boots I had where great, and outlived three different pairs of paddock boots ive had since….
ali you are so right the shoes and riding gear from thear are verry comfy in my opinyon but other copinys are good to like bukeroo bizz (you probly havent herd of them reasn thay are in dumfriesand hardly eny thing hear is famasthe most famas thing hear is my dog and we only won one pet show)
i have a pair of saxon boots which are great they don’t cost much, are comfortable and have lasted me a while they also have steel toes so when my friesian stepped on my foot i didnt even have a brouse on my toe. though one pair of boots i bought which i dont rember the brand, had a torn off sole (literally the whole sole of the boot came off in a few days of riding) they were horrible!!!
